Feature Mike Laureanno
Mike Laureanno’s songs have been accused of passing “the whistle test” with direct honesty. His background in traditional folk music make for melodies that sound like they were written long ago, while his lyrics, drawn from the school of “write what you know”, reflect the range of characters and experiences Mike has come to know. Besides songwriting, Mike is also a recording engineer, producer and sideman. Mike played bass guitar and sang high harmony for 12 years behind legendary Fast Folk founder, Jack Hardy. He has the musical chops to continue the folk tradition, so welcome Mike Laureanno as our SSFMC feature.
